Turmoil – The Heat Is On is a brand new campaign where you can mine tons of oil and exchange it for cash! It is designed to make you feel right at home, but at the same time contains many new mechanics and fun features. Here´s what you can expect!

- A new city (and mayor!) and a new map with rich oil reserves, divided into three areas.
- In each area, new drilling mechanics have been introduced using the energy of a new underground substance - magma.
- You will see familiar faces, in particular Edward, Fred and William. They´ve brought their wares in train cars, so you can get all your favorite drilling equipment instantly.
- There are also new people, such as Philip, who organizes a suspicious card game in the saloon.
- Jack is a new character who makes tools for working with magma in his barn. He loves chicken.
- Anthony also returns from the past. Instead of trading diamonds, he runs his own store where you can buy and sell all kinds of underground treasures.
- The new mayor is not like the old one. He gives free advice and uses a system of various auctions. But the shares are still worth money!
- A cat is wandering around the village! He doesn´t do much, but would you expect anything less from these creatures?
- Last but not least, a couple of brand new music tracks!

Evolution
Much of The Heat Is On´s content is based on lessons learned from Turmoil. We have noticed that not all players are exploiting the full potential of natural gas. That´s why we lowered the level to start using gas. From the very beginning, Left and Right Inc. will have built-in gas receiving capacity. No more expensive upgrades required, high oil prices available to everyone! Overall, gas production has been made easier. However, experienced players should not be afraid that the game will become less challenging. The drilling game will still require you to make smart decisions under time pressure, especially in the last area!

The metagame in this new DLC campaign is more fleshed out. Instead of diamonds, a total of 9 types of underground treasures are available. Collect them all (through trading or loot) and get great benefits. In addition, there are now more things to do in the village, such as playing cards for money.
