Product description

Exhaustive answers are given to 5 questions 4 options 1 of the control work on materials science on the manual N. Garbuzova
1. Describe the physical nature and mechanism of the crystallization process.
2. What is recrystallization annealing for? How is this treatment mode assigned? Give some specific examples.
 3. Draw a state diagram of iron - iron carbide, indicate the structural components in all areas of the diagram, Describe the transformations and construct a cooling curve (using the phase rule) for the alloy containing 0.4% C. What is the structure of this alloy at room temperature and how is such an alloy called?
 4. Using the diagram of isothermal transformation of aysthenite, explain why it is impossible to get a pure martensitic structure in steel when it is cooled at a speed less than critical?
 5. After heat treatment of carbon steel structure obtained cementite + martensite tempering. Apply iron-cementite ordinate of the given steel to the state diagram (approximately) and justify the temperature of heating of this steel for quenching. Also indicate the tempering temperature. Describe the transformations that occurred during heat treatment.
